Botox®
What can Botox do for me?
The active ingredient, which has the greatest effect, is botulinum toxin A. When injected into muscles, Botox blocks the nerve impulses that cause a particular muscle to contract. The muscle cannot move, and this reduces the appearance of wrinkles.
Will I still be able to make facial expressions?
A proper Botox® treatment does not make you expressionless. The muscle activity is simply reduced, so you may still frown or look surprised without the wrinkles and creases.
What should I expect during a Botox® visit?
A mild cleanser will be applied to these areas. If you’re concerned about discomfort, the specialist will use ice or a numbing cream to numb the targeted area(s). The specialist will use a narrow micro-needle to inject Botox directly into the facial muscles. One to three injections may be needed.
Dysport®
What should I expect during a Dysport® visit?
Dysport® is administered in our office and the actual procedure takes approximately 20 minutes depending on how many areas are treated. We use a topical anesthetic to numb the area. Tiny injections are administered directly into the muscles. There is no downtime. Some patients may experience redness, swelling, bleeding or bruising with the injections. Although these are not common, they can take place. We recommend avoiding aspirin or aspirin-containing products a week or two before your appointment.

Restylane®,Restylane Lyft®, Restylane Defyne®, and Restylane Refyne® are a crystal-clear biodegradable gel that is comprised of hyaluronic acid that has been slightly modified to last longer than the body’s natural hyaluronic acid. It’s produced by a biotechnical process and is injected into the skin to correct moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds such as the lines that run from the nose to the corners of the mouth (nasolabial folds). Restylane® and Restylane Lyft® can be injected anywhere in the face to fill wrinkles or acne scars. For fuller lips, Restylane® is the preferred filler. Furthermore, hylauronic acid is naturally occurring in the body and no allergy testing is required. Restylane ® or Restylane Lyft® treatments can be performed immediately.
Restylane® and Restylane Lyft®? The only difference between Restylane® and Restylane Lyft® is in the gel particle size. Restylane Lyft® gel particles are larger and designed for deeper injection than Restylane®. Our physician will determine which product is right for you.

How Does it Work?
Restylane® and Restylane Lyft® are cosmetic dermal fillers injected by a physician to replace lost volume and restore youthful contours to the skin to smooth away moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, add volume to the lips and used to fill scars.
Collagen, elastin and hylauronic acid are the binding materials that provide volume and give a youthful appearance to the skin. Treatment with Restylane ® or Restylane Lyft® both comprised of hylauronic acid helps to restore this lost volume and lasts for about six months. Restylane Lyft® can last slightly longer.

What is Kybella®?
KYBELLA® is a prescription medicine and is the only FDA-approved injectable treatment used in adults to improve the appearance and profile of moderate to severe fat below the chin (submental fat), also called “double chin.”
When injected into fat under the chin, KYBELLA® causes the destruction of fat cells. Once destroyed, those cells cannot store or accumulate fat. After reaching your desired aesthetic, further treatment is not expected.
Sclerotherapy
